  • As a result of this tournament, Bobby Fischer, and Arthur Bisguier qualified for the 1964 Amsterdam Interzonal.

  • Sammy Reshevsky, Larry Evans, and William Addison finished in a 3-way tie for the final Interzonal spot and played off with Reshevsky winning it:

  • Fischer declined to participate in the Interzonal, and was replaced by Evans. (And I'm not sure why Evans got it instead of Addison. I see no other games played between them that might have decided it.)

  • Arthur Bisguier was replaced by Pal Benko, after losing the following Best of 8 match in which his Interzonal spot was at stake:
